Plantapalooza
On April 14, the State Botanical Garden of Georgia, the University of Georgia Horticulture Club, the Trial Gardens of UGA, and a number of specialty nurseries will join together for what has become one of Georgia's largest and most exciting spring plant sales, Plantapalooza. A wide variety of plants that thrive in the Southeast will be offered at each location from 8 am to 2 pm. When I have a gardening problem, help is just a click away when I access the Clemson Home and Garden Information Center. HGIC provides research-based information in a Fact Sheet format on landscaping, gardening, plant health, and other topics. Fact Sheets are easily accessed through a search process that guides the user from broad to more specific selections. The home page also includes timely Hot Topics and a number of helpful updates, such as Drought Status and Food Recalls.
