Doug Green's Garden
Doug Green's Garden is an amusing site with lots of information (and lots of ads). The author has good information for the most part, and the site is chock full of all kinds of references, blog entries and many videos about all aspects of gardening from creating a water garden to building raised beds. You might even find some of the ads interesting or useful.

Favorite or New Plant

'Faerie' Watermelon
This AAS 2012 Award winner is a winner for all, especially small space gardens. It grows to only about eleven feet around and produces four to six pound, luscious fruits. The rind is creamy yellow with stripes and the pink flesh is super sweet and almost as crisp as an apple. Full sun and well-drained soil are all it needs, and it can be grown on a trellis if the melons supported.
