The Totally Free Kids Learning Network
The Totally Free Kids Learning Network includes sites about biology, geology, geography, chemistry, human history, animals, astronomy, dinosaurs, spelling, memory, and math. The KidsKnowIt Network has free educational materials -- thousands of educational games, activities, articles, movies, songs, books, and other educational resources. For example, I listened to the song Let's Name The Parts of a Tree. Here are links to the in-depth online geology and biology textbooks written for kids: Kids Geology and Kids Biology. Have fun!

Game: Bug Bingo
Can't tell your Dragonfly from a Damselfly? What's the difference between a millipede and a centipede? Did you know "mosquito" is Spanish for "little fly"? Or that spittlebugs are young froghoppers? Lucy Hammett's Bug Bingo game is a fun way to get to know more about bugs, beetles, spiders, and flies. Colorful, clear illustrations and informative (not stuffy) text. Ages 3 to Adult. I bought mine at a nature center. Also available at www.lucybingogames.com.
