The Homeowner's Complete Tree and Shrub Handbook
It's not too early to think about what trees and shrubs you may want to add to your landscape this spring. Penelope O'Sullivan's book, The Homeowner's Complete Tree & Shrub Handbook (Storey Publishing, 2007, $29.95), contains all the information you need to make the right choices. You will be guided by the elements of line, form, texture, and color; provided with a very detailed section on specific trees and shrubs; and learn what maintenance and care is necessary for good health of the trees and shrubs you select. This 426 page book is filled with photographs and graphics.
