I have a new favorite medicinal herb book! Natural Remedies by Melissa Corkhill is a culmination of information gathered over centuries from a variety of cultures. This book is all you need to keep your medicinal herb locker stocked. Soothing aches and pains, stomach aches, skin problems, headaches and even anxiety is as close as your garden gate. I love this book. It contains useful information on gathering, storing and using common herbs to treat minor medical problems. The book is divided into chapters that deal with individual parts of the body including; mind and emotions, nervous system, digestive, urinary, heart and blood, eyes, ears, muscles and joints. There are beautiful illustrations of the plants used and recipes for creating your own medications. If you have ever considered dabbling with the medicinal arts, as our ancestors did for thousands of years, this is the book to start with.
