Favorite or New Plant
Double Take Flowering Quince
Proven Winners is bringing an old-fashioned favorite back into fashion with its new Double Take series of flowering quince (Chaenomeles). This new and improved variety, which is thornless and features double blooms, offers early spring color, is hardy in zones 5 to 8, and is drought tolerant when established. The series includes 'Scarlet Storm' with dark red double flowers, 'Pink Storm' with extra large, two-inch, salmon or coral colored flowers, and 'Orange Storm' with bright orange, camellia-like blooms.
