Andrew Lee
ISBN 0-9624648-0-5

If you%ve ever thought about taking produce or flowers to market, this is a great starting place. This book is very straightforward about what you can and cannot do, and the author gives clear, almost folksy advice about how to market well. The tips are invaluable, gleaned from people who%ve done this. We get to learn from their mistakes, so as not to make them our own. It will inspire you to think about taking food to market, and just might make you a tidy living in the process!

Favorite or New Plant

Great White Fleece Flower
This giant beauty has become a new favorite, especially streamside. Its huge heads of cottony flowers are dramatic on five to six foot stems, and they are produced from late May through September. It performs best in partial shade, but will survive in full sun provided it is given enough moisture. It%s slow to take hold, but once it does, will perform beautifully in moist or dry soil. It will spread to about five feet, but is not invasive.
