June 25 to 27 is the main event weekend of the South Carolina Festival of Flowers in Greenwood. The festival features music, children's activities, sporting events, arts and crafts and other attractions. New this year is a display of safari topiary in the Uptown area, featuring 19 animals, from a 14 foot giraffe to a mammoth lion. Park Seed Flower Day, scheduled for Saturday, June 27, offers guided tours of its 9 acres of trial gardens. Visit the Web site at www.scfestivalofflowers.org.

Dramm Watering Tools
With hot weather just around the corner, it's time to make a plan for summer irrigation. I love Dramm watering tools because they are as beautiful as they are functional and durable. My favorites include the ColorStorm Stake Impulse Sprinkler with an all-brass sprinkler head mounted on a 6 inch stake, the 24 to 30-inch Colormark Rain Wand, and the molded plastic 5-liter watering can that has an extended spout for balance. Each of these tools comes in six bright colors, making them easy to spot in the garden, and can be viewed at www.dramm.com.
