Favorite or New Plant

'Flamingo' Swiss Chard
I've always been a fan of chard, but the breeders are taking it new heights. 'Flamingo' chard has bright pink stalks and veins, and a delicate taste. It is as beautiful an addition to the perennial garden and landscape as any annual flower. And the bonus of adding a nutritious green to the table is doubly appealing. Give chard a sunny location with average soil and you will be harvesting from spring to fall.
