Spreading Fleabane
Spreading fleabane (Ergeron divergens) is a aster family, low growing wildflower that looks good planted in drifts in front of taller flowers. The white blossoms enhance the colors of brighter blooms such as scarlet flax or California poppies. It grows easily and flowers for a long time. Buy seeds now from a garden center of mail-order wildflower dealer and sow seeds in full sun in October for spring and summer bloom.
