Herb Weekend
Saturday and Sunday, May 30-31, 2009, from 10am-4pm, the Fullerton Arboretum will have a large variety of herb plants for sale. Many can serve double duty in the kitchen garden and as edible landscaping. Admission is free. For more information, contact Mark Costello at mcostello@fullerton.edu, or go to http://www.fullertonarboretum.org.

Clever Gardening Technique

By the time that the seedlings have grown tall enough to reach through the tops of the baskets, they are no longer as tender and delectible as the birds prefer.
