New Hampshire Orchid Show
A Symphony of Orchids is the New Hampshire Orchid Society's 17th annual orchid show, scheduled for February 9th and 10th, at the Radisson Hotel in Nashua. There will be lectures and video and slide presentations throughout the two days, and venders will have orchid plants and paraphernalia for sale. Preventing Seedling Damping Off
Sphagnum moss contains a natural fungicide that can help prevent damping off fungus from killing your seedlings. You can find it any time of year at garden centers and sometimes florists. Just sprinkle a thin layer on top of the soil of your seedling flats or containers after planting seeds. Keep it moist with a spray bottle.
