Bulbs as Companion Plants
The Fayette County Master Gardener Association and the Friends of the Arboretum will host Brent Heath, of Brent and Becky's Bulbs on Thursday, October 25th at 7 p.m. in the Gluck Equine Center Auditorium on the University of Kentucky campus in Lexington. Brent will talk about bulbs as companion plants. He and his wife, Becky, are hybridizers of daffodils and third-generation bulb growers. The Heaths have coauthored or consulted on a number of books about bulbs. Brent not only entices with his information on new and unusual bulbs, he also gives down-to-earth, practical growing advice. Admission is $12 for the public, $10 for Master Gardeners, Friends of the Arboretum, and students with valid identification.
