Plant Propagation
The American Horticultural Society's Plant Propagation, by Alan Toogood (DK Publishing, 1999; $35), is almost coffee table pretty but chock full of good information about propagating just about any plant. The instructions are clear, and photographs of each step make it almost foolproof. The book covers all the necessary introductory material about propagating, and includes step-by-step instructions for trees, shrubs, vines, perennials, annuals, cacti, bulbs, and vegetables.
