As the founder of The Last Organic Outpost Web site, he has put his love for gardening and poetry directly into the community. The crops look awesome, and the message is downright inspiring. Autumn Aster
Much overlooked is 'Raydon's Favorite' aster (Aster oblongifolius), which blooms beginning in September with hundreds of tiny, white, skinny-petaled daisies. Also called autumn aster, it is very reliable and easy to grow in almost any soil on a sunny site. Water moderately in dry summers for best blooms.
