The Growth of a Hummingbird
Most gardeners never get to see a hummingbird nest, much less the birth and growth of a baby bird. This Hummer Nest 05 Web site provides amazing photos from hatching to fledging. Be sure to click on NEXT PAGE at the bottom of each page to see all the photos.

Favorite or New Plant

Yellow Butterfly Vine
Named after the butterfly-shaped seedpods that form after the yellow clusters of flowers drop, yellow butterfly vine (Mascagnia macroptera) is a unique addition to the landscape. The seedpods make a popular addition to arrangements. It may freeze to the ground in zone 8a or colder but will return in spring. Give it plenty of room and support to sprawl as it is a vigorous grower. Provide a full sun exposure.
