Tool or Gardening Product

Velcro Plant Ties
My new favorite gardening item is Velcro Plant Ties, a roll of thin, green Velcro tape that makes quick work of attaching a plant to a trellis or stake, and has a myriad of other uses. It's light as paper, easy to tear off, and reusable. Here's what it looks like: http://www.redrocknursery.com/velcro_2.jpg.

Shows & Events

Art Goes Wild
Springtime is an ideal time to visit the New England Wildflower Society's Garden in the Woods in Framingham, Massachusetts, and a new exhibit increases the temptation. ART GOES WILD showcases nature-based art and living sculptures amidst 11 Destination Gardens that include a labyrinth and flying saucers. The grand opening is May 19, and related events continue through October. For info, visit: http://www.newenglandWILD.org.
