Food Trends for 2007
According to a Food Business Review Online article, Ten trends to watch in packaged goods in 2007, one of the food trends for 2007 is local sourcing of ingredients. According to their Web site, "There is growing evidence that consumers are increasingly attracted to locally grown and raised foods." Other trends include calorie-burning beverages, satiety-enhancing foods, healthful foods for kids, and my favorite -- vitamin-enhanced beer.
