Niki in the Garden
Originally set to end in October, the Niki in the Garden exhibit at the Atlanta Botanical Garden has been extended through December 31, 2006. The exhibit highlights the works of internationally renowned artist Niki de Saint Phalle, whose outdoor sculptures depict enormous animals, mythical figures, and more. The huge (up to 25 feet long) sculptures are decorated with mirrors, glass, and mosaics. On "Niki Nights" the sculptures are specially lit for dramatic effect at night. Niki Nights are every Thursday through November 30. Visit the Atlanta Botanical Garden Web site (http://www.atlantabotanicalgarden.org) for details.
