Tomatoes! Which are Your Favorites?
Whether you grew them or tasted them at one of the many tomato tastings each summer at community gardens, nurseries, or a friend's garden, let me know your favorites and their qualities by sending a blog message by August 20 (http://www.garden.org/regional/report/current/4). Describe each by flavor (including balance of sweetness and acidity) and texture (firm or soft flesh), and identify them by these categories: size (cherry, midsize, large); color (red, yellow, other); timing (early, midseason, or late); and type (hybrid, heirloom). I'll compile your choices and present them in my September 14 regional report.
