All About Peppers at the Chicago Botanic Garden
Become a pepperhead at the Chicago Botanic Garden's All About Peppers weekend, August 5 and 6 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Fruit and Vegetable Garden. The event features growing tips, kids' activities, tours of the pepper plantings, salsa tasting, and a cooking demonstration by renowned chef Rick Bayless. The National Agricultural library Web site has every link you could possibly need, in addition to access to articles written by just about every horticulture source imaginable. There may be more information than you need, but it's worth a visit just to see the wealth of data that's out there.
