Favorite or New Plant

Angelonia
These annuals saved my container gardens from midsummer burnout last year. The common name is summer snapdragons but ask for them by their genus name, Angelonia angustifolia hybrids, Angelface series. These relatively new introductions from Proven Winners do look like open-faced snaps and come in a range of colors -- purple, light blue, pink, white, and bicolors (my favorites). They grow about 2 feet tall and half as wide, and if you give them full sun, they'll flower on and on into fall.
