When hurricane season arrives, we check our supplies, make a plan for evacuation, and figure we won't have to water the plants as much when the storms come. The toughest part of the 2006 season is how much we still have to recover from 2005. It's slow, but for evidence that this great, grand public garden is coming back, visit the Web site of the New Orleans Botanical Garden. Take a look at their wish list of plants they need to replace.
