Big Bugs, Wine-Tasting, and Iris Gazing
Opening for its 70th season, Hershey Gardens, 170 Hotel Road, in Hershey, PA, has a busy calendar. From May 1 to July 31, David Rogers' BIG BUGS will be on display -- 10 giant, wooden "Big Bugs," including a 7-foot assassin bug and 1,200-pound praying mantis. May 1 brings an evening of Wine Tasting with Jean-Luc Columbo, winemaker in France's Rhone Valley, to the Morris Arboretum of the University of Pennsylvania, 100 Northwestern Ave., Philadelphia, PA.
