Success With Seed Starting
Park's Success With Seed (Park Seed Company, $24.95; from www.parkseed.com) has been one of my favorite resources for starting seeds of vegetables, herbs, and flowers. The new edition contains detailed information on more than 400 plants, including 70 species not covered in the earlier edition. Since its publication in 1978, this reference has been a classic for gardeners who like to start their own seeds indoors.
