Migration Celebration
The Migration Celebration and Butterfly Festival will take place on Sunday, April 9, at the Houston Zoo, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. It explores the mass migration of many species worldwide in spring. Birds, bats, and butterflies can teach us plenty about the need to conserve our environment and improve habitat. Tagging and banding butterflies, building bird feeders, and chats with zookeepers will go on all day for children of all ages. For more information, call (713) 533-6500, or visit: http://www.houstonzoo.org.
