Bouquets to Art
Enjoy the new DeYoung Museum at Golden Gate Park while you wander through galleries filled with glorious bouquets designed to compliment and mimic the art. The Bouquets to Art Show, March 21-25, features the work of hundreds of local floral designers who've donated their expertise to benefit the Fine Arts. Lectures, demonstrations, formal teas, and guided tours are available. For more information, call (415) 750-3504, or visit http://www.bouquetstoart.org

Clever Gardening Technique

Wild Woods Please
Allow a hidden back corner of your garden to go wild for the benefit of the birds. Birds prefer to nest in thickets and tangled areas to protect their babies from predators such as blue jays and crows. By allowing roses, berries, and other thorny shrubs to grow thick and wild, you will provide habitat for creatures that will help rid your garden of insect pests. Provide a bird bath and keep it clean and filled.
