Clever Gardening Technique

Homemade Seed Germination Chamber
Here's a technique to boost germination of your seedlings without purchasing special trays with plastic covers. Place the seed trays or pots inside a large, clear, plastic bag. Those you get from a dry cleaners work very well. Place a few plant labels or popsicle sticks in the trays to hold the plastic up off the surface and sprouting seeds. The bag will hold in moisture to aid good, even germination. Check the trays often so you can remove the plastic once most of the seeds have begun to sprout and grow.
