Northwest Flower and Garden Show
The Northwest Flower and Garden Show, North America's third largest spring flower show, will be held Feb. 8 to 12, 2006, at the Washington State Convention Center, Seventh Avenue and Pike Street, in downtown Seattle. Hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
The annual show features 27 fully designed gardens, a container gardening exhibit, a seminar series featuring more than 100 presentations by horticulture and garden design experts, a marketplace with garden-related products and services, and an orchid display. This year there is a special children's section with lots of hands-on activities.
