Clever Gardening Technique
Torching Weeds
An easy way to spot-treat weeds in small areas, such as cracks in the sidewalk or driveway, is by flaming -- using a small propane torch to scorch the offending weeds. Use good judgment and caution and don't flame on a windy day. This technique works best on small, young weed seedlings.
