Seed Savers Exchange
Seed Savers Exchange is a wonder of information, not to mention a ready resource for heirloom vegetable, bean, and flower seeds. Their Seed Savers Exchange site has plenty of information about their operation and how they are involved in saving the seeds of the world, as well as basic down-to-earth advice on gardening.

Little's Good Gloves
Like most gardeners, I'm constantly on the lookout for a good pair of gloves. I remember discovering goatskin gloves years ago and thinking nothing could beat them. Except that they get pretty nasty when they get wet. I've now discovered another glove that is, hands down (no pun intended), the best. The palms are covered with rubber, the backs are cotton. Their great colors like tangerine and apple green make gardening fun (why hide your hands in muted earth colors?), and they are available in several sizes, including several kids' sizes. Best of all, they cost less than $10.00. Two pairs usually get me through a garden season without any problems. I'm in heaven! Order through Little's Good Gloves (http://www.mudglove.com/).
