Movies! Here's a fun and informative way to pass a snowy winter evening or afternoon. You can learn about a huge array of diverse gardening topics -- how to care for your plants, design a perennial garden, select an arborist, and many more -- on this Plant Facts Web site, in either video format or as a slide show with captions. The collection is searchable by keyword, or you can click your way through the entire list. The presentations are done by Tom McNutt, gardening expert for WCMH-TV NBC-4, in collaboration with Ohio State University's WebGarden.

Phipps Winter Flower Show: One Enchanted Evening
Now through January 8th in Pittsburgh, PA, the Phipps Winter Flower Show is the topiary-lover's dream come true. Titled "One Enchanted Evening," the event showcases 20 different topiary animals from the unicorn to penguins amid the poinsettias and kissing balls in a magical land.
