Clever Gardening Technique

Slugs Bugging You?
Slugs have no happy place in a gardener's heart, so here's a spray that will help eliminate them. Spray slugs directly with 1-1/2 cups nonsudsing ammonia mixed with an equal portion of water. After busting the slug, the ammonia degrades into pure nitrogen that fertilizes the plant.
