Sustainable Landscape Faire
The Third Annual Sustainable Landscape Faire is June 18 at Middlebrook Gardens, 76 Race St. in San Jose. For this year's faire, we're publishing a commemorative magazine called Green Heart. We're asking local people who've supported us in the past to participate in helping our magazine successfully touch other green hearts in the Bay Area, and beyond. The magazine will reach approximately 200,000 people.

To receive a mock up of the magazine and this year's faire brochure, please email: info@middlebrook-gardens.com, and we'll send it over!

Green Heart will be filled with informative articles about sustainable landscaping, beautiful photos of native gardens, original art, and other sustainable garden amenities. Print copies will be free to Faire participants. It will be distributed at the Faire, available on line, and at select locations.

Fiskars 25-inch Bypass Pruner
The nice people at Fiskars just sent me their newest pruning tool. The 25-inch bypass pruner has a unique lever design that multiplies your cutting power. The long handle gives you the reach of loppers with the ease of hand shears. This well-balanced, elegant tool comes with a lifetime warranty. The handle is made from Nyglass construction and is lightweight and durable. It has a slide locking latch to lock the shears closed, and the blades are Fiskars best stainless steel. This is an excellent tool for the serious gardener. Check it out at: http://www.fiskars.com.
