Chicago Flower and Garden Show

Composting at Home
The Composting at Home Web site from Ohio State University Extension Service is a great place to find the basics of composting. There are charts on materials to use and not to use, including the nitrogen contents and a great chart on troubleshooting. The site also give a few basic designs for making your own bins.
