Eco-Savvy Gardening Symposium
A one-day event sponsored by Green Spring Master Gardeners, the Eco-Savvy Gardening Symposium features four lecturers discussing gardening techniques designed to keep our plants healthy. Don Leopold will present information from his book, Native Plants for the Northeast; and Steven Carroll will talk about material from his book, Ecology for Gardeners. Building healthy soil and controlling rainwater and erosion are the other two topics.
The Symposium is February 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Green Spring Gardens in Alexandria, Virginia. For further information, contact Sandy Flowers at (703) 642-5173, or firstname.lastname@example.org, or visit: http://www.greenspring.org.
While some plants multiply more than might be desired, there are others that we would dearly like to have more of. One avenue for adding plants to your garden or to share with friends is to propagate them yourself.
