Graywater Guidelines
Water CASA (Water Conservation Alliance of Southern Arizona) has just released a Spanish version of its handy booklet on graywater. It provides practical advice for the homeowner on setting up a graywater system to water the landscape. (Graywater originates from showers, bathtubs, or washing machines, but water from kitchen sinks and toilets is not allowed.) A complimentary copy of "Guia para la Conservacion de las Aguas Grises" is available from Kirsten Hoak at khoak@u.arizona.edu. Additional copies are $1.25. The English version, "Graywater Guidelines," also is available.
