Viburnum sargentii 'Onandaga'
The magnificent Viburnum sargentii 'Onandaga' is another of the versatile viburnums that grow well in sun or partial shade. The crowning glory is the lacecap flower with large, pale pink, sterile florets surrounding maroon-pink, fertile flowers. The foliage emerges reddish bronze and turns to bright green, setting off beautifully the crisp, red fruits that mature in September and persist into winter. The plant is adaptable to a wide range of soil types and cultural conditions, and is virtually pest-free.
