Name That Pest
The University of Wisconsin Bug Net is a great identification tool for insects in the garden, in the house, and on pets. It gives clear pictures and even some links to more detailed pages about some insects, such as Japanese beetles and cicadas.
Recipes
Frozen Vegetable Timbale
Ingredients
1 cup cooked frozen vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, swiss chard, summer squash, or any combination from the freezer)
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon flour
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon toasted bread crumbs
Preparation
Puree vegetables and add rest of ingredients except bread crumbs.
Coat two 6-oz. soufflé dishes with cooking spray. Pour mixture into dishes, top with bread crumbs and bake 25 to 30 minutes.
