National Plant Diagnostic Network
Great news for agriculture and horticulture alike: The U.S. Department of Agriculture has established a National Plant Diagnostic Network to help detect, identify, and report pests and pathogens. This network will bring together plant specialists, diagnostic labs, and university research departments to help diagnose and treat plants and crops. This network will maintain an Internet-based database available for all to use. The University of Illinois is a component of the north-central region.
