There'll be hundreds of poinsettias, cyclamens, and other holiday plants; plus a giant music box, a gingerbread house, and an enormous tree bedecked with hundreds of handmade ornaments from natural materials. The show is open from Saturday, November 22, 2003, through Sunday, January 4, 2004, from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. There also are special events on certain days. Admission is free, but voluntary donations are encouraged. For additional information, call Andrea Schepmann,

Reblooming Amaryllis
Getting amaryllis to bloom the first year after purchasing the bulbs is very easy, but it's not so difficult to get them to bloom again year after year if you know what to do. For simple directions, go to Amaryllis Re-Bloom, a page of the Bulb.com site. Provided by the International Flower Bulb Centre, representing the Netherlands bulb growers, Bulb.com offers a wealth of information about growing and enjoying flower bulbs.
