Some new reviews from the Green Pages:

PotEmUp recommended Dale Hardware and wrote:

A small local hardware store opened in what was then a rural suburb of San Francisco in 1955. It grew as it went through 3 moves in a 1-block area. It is now one of the very few local nurseries in town. They have friendly, knowledgeable staff and it is a delight to shop for plants in their new covered nursery. This weekend they have a 25%-off sale, but even without that they have great prices. If you don't come to Fremont regularly, but want to shop for plants, this is worth the trip!

PotEmUp recommended Annie's Annuals & Perennials and wrote:

I can't comment on mail order because I have only purchased locally. I saw one comment about shipping costs, and I do understand how difficult it is to ship live plants such as she has. I enjoy the variety of plants. Annie always seems to find something new. Even if you can never go there, sign up for her e-mails. They are to drool over. My wife calls this kind of stuff "plant porn," but as a quilter, she gets "fabric porn."
