Not All Morning Glories Are Thugs; Some Are Very Friendly!

Many gardeners hate morning glories, thinking they are invasive and can take over the garden, especially purpureas. They can be troublesome if not controlled, but it's easy to keep them from getting out of control. (433 words - Read the full article)

Some new reviews from the Green Pages:

Xylona recommended Colorblends and wrote:

If the color catalog doesn't entice you to grow spring bulbs, nothing will. They are masters at matching complementary colors. Very informative as well, they make an interesting point when they compare the cost of planting your own versus a florist's bouquet. They blend early, mid, and late tulips to give you a long display of color. I planted the Red Cubed mixture and got weeks and weeks of enjoyment from 100 bulbs. My only regret was not doubling the order. The picture is the Pillow Talk collection.

josebaca recommended Lasagne Gardening by Patricia Lanza and wrote:

One of the most enlightening garden books I own, a little on the anecdotal side, but can be, and is!, a great reference for veggies and flowers. I got this when it was first published and it continues to be referenced every year.

plantladylin recommended Steve's Leaves and wrote:

I'm very pleased with my first order from this company. The plants arrived in due time, were quite robust and healthy, and the packaging was perfect. Not a speck of soil was out of place! I'd highly recommend Steve's Leaves and I will definitely be a returning customer.
