Growing Native Plants: Native Seed Collecting Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve Where: 1635 River Road New Hope, PA 18938 Date(s): Saturday, October 20, 2012 — Saturday, October 20, 2012 Hours: 1-3pm Description: So many beautiful wildflowers now let's look at their seeds! Take advantage of the combined expertise of Preserve Nursery Manager Bob Mahler and Propagation Volunteer Nancy Putnam and learn how to collect seeds from the plants in your own backyard. This class will take you through the steps needed to successfully and responsibly collect native plant seeds. Timing of seed collection, techniques, and supplies for seed storage and cleaning will also be covered.
