Ants in Compost
My husband found millions (literally) of ants swamring in my compost pile when he was turning it the other day. They were ants that were half red, half black and were various sizes. These ants have appeared only in the past week. I have never had anything like them in my compost pile before.
Unfortunately, my husband got out his trusty Dursban (sp?) and sprayed them. Will I now have to start all over and, if so, how can I prevent the ant disaster again? Many thanks to any help.
