Shirley, Thanks! we doon't have slugs here but we do have snails. I haven't found any in strawberries. It isn't like a bird , so it may be earwigs as we have lots this year.
What do I do about them? Any help.

    Elee,
    There are commercial products that you can dust on your plants or on the ground around your plants. Check out a local garden center and be sure to read the labels.
    I don't know of anything else except hand picking. Have you seen the earwigs?
