Squash "Squashing" others in Garden

I have several Squash-Like plants taking over my garden. I think most are spaghetti squash plants (their vines are spreading everywhere and starting to crowd out my beans and other squash varieties).
(1) is there any way to control the vines?
(2) any way to distinguish if it is a spag. squash or another squash or cucumber before I "squash" them?

I know they are not Zuchinni (leaves slightly different) but I also planted two cucumber varieties just before a rain storm that didn't grow where I planted them, pattypans, lakotas and sweet dumplings.
