Carpenter Ants

Carpenter Ants

I have a few planting beds next to the house foundation. Everytime that I use pine mulch, it seems that carpenter ants love it. Is there a mulch that these ants do not like?

    Karen,I have found that cypress mulch is a great way to keep pests at bay.It is a bit more expensive but well worth it..Good luck.
