Black streaks on basil?

I noticed that my basil has black streaks on a couple of leaves and one small stem, that also has black streaks on it, wilted and looks like it will die. I don't know if I am watering it too much or if it needed more water or wind is possible culprit. We get lots of wind where I live. This is a newly planted basil plant (about a week).Has anyone had this problem?
