Lima Beans

Lima Beans
Posted by Tom Odom (todom@mitigationresources.com) from FLorida on 2002-05-07 20:28:12

My lima beans are growing like kudzu, but they are not producing any bean pods. I planted them from seed about 2 months ago and have been amazed at their growth, but dissapointed about their lack of pod production.

What can I do to help them produce pods?

Are you fertilizing? If so, stop. You'll get lots of vine and no fruit. Also, look at the seed packet and see how long it says until harvest. They just may not be mature enough.
